Course Overview
The Healthcare
reform is scheduled to take place in 2010.
Rebasing is planned in 2011 and post acute bundling in 2013.
OASIS-C will be implemented on January 1, 2010 with 40 new
questions which will affect reimbursement in 2011. Your agency
will learn about these proposed changes and how to cut your
costs and increase your reimbursement in response to declining
reimbursement rates.
PPS Refinement is fully implemented but is
your agency not getting all the reimbursement it has coming
due? Half of all agencies are suffering 10% reduction in
Medicare reimbursement. This seminar will focus on strategies
which allow your agency to get all the Medicare reimbursement it
is entitled to. Other topics covered will include making money
on outlier patients and getting reimbursed for finger sticks and
venipuncture. This course is structured to allow billers,
administrators as well as nurses to understand the new system
pitfalls.
